  • How much will it cost me to get Solar Panels on my home?

    In most cases it's less expensive for solar than it costs for the power you are presently getting from your utility company.

  • How does it work when I want solar panels and where do I start?

    ‘‘Going Solar” is easier than ever. First you need to have an analysis of your situation and get all of your questions answered. The panels can be purchased outright or as in most cases, financed. Most of the time by financing your panels, you can lock in your savings and reduce your monthly energy costs.


  • Do you install panels on a Steel Roof?

    YES

  • Do you install panels on a Cedar Roof?

    No, we do not do installations on cedar or aluminum roof.

  • How long does it generally take to have a Solar Installation complete?

    It will vary from State to State. Generally, the installation will take about 45-90 days from the date the contract is signed.

  • Does Freedom Forever install Ground Mounts?

    Yes, Freedom Forever installs ground mount systems.

  • How do I know if my roof will support Solar Panels?

    Within a few days of our analysis of your roof and other factors, Freedom Forever will send a qualified representative to inspect your home to insure compatibility.


  • Do you install battery backup systems for off grid solar systems?

    Yes, we install 'Power Walls' for battery storage systems.


  • Are batteries warrantied and if so for how long?

    Yes, 10 years, depending upon the brand.

  • Do I need to get a building permit in order to have Solar installed at my home?

    This varies by state and utility but is handled by Freedom Forever. Each of our clients get an online portal which allow you to follow the process step by step until the project is completed.

  • Will snow and ice accumulate on the panels?

    Yes, but the design and heat generated from the panels will melt Ice and snow.

  • What happens if the power goes out?

    You will not have power unless you have a battery backup system.

  • What if my system produces more power than I consume?

    With ‘Net Metering’ excess power generated by your system goes back to the (Utility). Depending on your location and utility you may receive a refund for the excess.

  • Can a reroof be tied into the financing of the solar project?

    Yes, but only if done through our approved roofing contractors.
